Founded in 1745, The Rotunda Hospital is the oldest maternity hospital in Ireland. With a complement of 189 beds and approximately 800 staff, the hospital is a provider of a comprehensive range of specialist services in the treatment, education, and care of mothers and babies. A public voluntary Hospital, its mission is to achieve the optimal health and well- being of the women and infants for whom it is responsible.
